All you need to know about Akshay Kumar’s ‘Hera Pheri 3’

18 years ago, Director Priyadarshan gave us one of the best comedy movies of all time, ‘Hera Pheri’. The movie featured Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. Their comic-timing and epic dialogues are still etched in our memories. Naturally, after the success of the film, it called for a sequel which released in 2006.

The second installment of the franchise had hit the chord and made its next part predictable. Guess what? The third part, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is FINALLY happening. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is all set to revive the franchise. A source close to the development told the tabloid, “The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year.” (Also Read: Terrific trio Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal to be back with ‘Hera Pheri 3’?)

The report also suggests that  Late Director Neeraj had locked the story, screenplay, and dialogue by 2014. The pre-production had begun in Delhi during 2016, but then Neeraj slipped into a coma in October. Firoz moved Neeraj, to his own home and ensured that he got the best medical care. But unfortunately, he passed away on December 14, 2017.

The third part will feature the original star-cast and will be directed by Indra Kumar.
