All you need to know about Sonal Chauhan’s role in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next

‘Jannat’ fame actress Sonal Chauhan is currently on a signing spree. The actress has already bagged ‘Paltan’ featuring a multi-starrer cast. While the movie directed by J.P. Dutta releases sometime in September, Sonal has reportedly signed a new film featuring Vidyut Jamwal and Shruti Hassan. The untitled movie will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, who has worked in Marathi as well as Hindi films.

Until now, not much was known about Sonal Chauhan’s character in the film. But a recent report in DNA suggests that the actress will be seen playing modern-day Chandramukhi from Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s ‘Devdas’. A source close to the daily said, “Sonal isn’t playing the lead role, but hers and Vidyut’s character do get involved.
