Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 to lock horns with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again at the box office? Here’s what we know

With the way franchises are doing wonders at the box office, 2023 can rightly be said as a bright year for Bollywood. Looks like 2024 is going to be spectacular as some of the much-awaited sequels are releasing. Allu Arjun starrer 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise was a massive hit at the box office. Ever since the announcement of Part 2, the audience has been excited about the flick. Today, the makers announced the release date of the film. Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 is reportedly all set to lock horns with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again.

Pushpa 2 and Singham Again to release on Independence Day 2024

Sharing the release date of the film, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule shared a poster on their social media handles. Announcing the release date, the makers wrote in the caption, “#Pushpa2TheRule on 15th AUG 2024”.

If reports are to be believed, Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again will also be released on the same day. This means, there will be a massive box-office clash between the two films.

Talking about Pushpa sequel, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will be reprising their roles as Molleti Srivalli and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, respectively, in Pushpa 2. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will be reprising the role of Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty’s directorial. The Cop Universe will also star Deepika Padukone as the first female cop in the franchise.
