Ex-Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh has apologised to Amitabh Bachchan and his family on his remarks over the Bachchan family. The politician is currently in a hospital in Singapore and he has been fighting a battle of life and death. On February 18, Singh took to his Twitter handle to say that it was his father’s death anniversary and Amitabh Bachchan had messaged him on the occasion. He wrote, “At this stage of life when I am fighting a battle of life & death I regret for my over reaction against Amit ji & family. God bless them all.”

He also posted a video message on Facebook to the Bachchan family. In a feeble voice, he was saying, “For 10 years I have not only stayed away from the Bachchan family but also tried to create hatred against me. But in these ten years, Amit ji always wished me on my birthdays and remembered my fathers’ dad anniversary.”

Earlier, Singh and the Bachchans were very close but in 2016, their relationship turned sour when Singh went public with his complaints against Jaya Bachchan. Post that he also used indecent and harsh words for Jaya Bachchan and the entire family.
Well, Mr. Bachchan has not yet responded to Amar Singh.
