‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’: Chiranjeevi reveals he regrets not following Amitabh Bachchan’s advice

Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is hands down one of the most awaited films of this year. Not only that, the excitement has doubled as the movie will also be starring the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Recently in an interview, Big B revealed that he gave his co-star Chiranjeevi some really important advice but he refused to accept it! Strange right? Read on to know what the advice was.

Recently, Bachchan and Chiranjeevi sat down with ‘The Sky Is Pink’ actor Farhan Akhtar to have a conversation about their upcoming movie ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. Farhan’s production house is producing this historical epic drama.

During their conversation, Big B went on to spill the beans on how Chiranjeevi did not accept his advice and regretted it later.

Big B shared that he had adviced Chiranjeevi to not enter politics. But, the South superstar decided to go ahead with it and now he is regretting it immensely.

“One day he said sir you know, I think that I need to join politics. I said sir please don’t make that mistake. I have told Rajni the same thing but he never listens. He says ‘I don’t know what to do sir’. Then I said please don’t do this. Anyhow he went in, so he said, ‘I am sorry sir but I have gone in now’. Then after sometime, he came out and said, ‘but I have come out of it now’, “ shared Big B.

Chiranjeevi added, “Yes. Now we are regretting.”

‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is a historical epic, based on a freedom fighter of the same name. The film will mark the first on-screen collaboration of Big B and Chiranjeevi. The movie also stars Kichcha Sudeepa, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapati Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Ravi Kishan in key roles. It is set to hit the theatres on 2nd October.
