Karva Chauth 2019: Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor send wishes to their better halves

Karva Chauth is the festival celebrated by married as well as unmarried women for the long and healthy life of their better halves, husbands or partners. On this day, women keep fasts, dress like a bride and worship the moon. This festival holds importance as it’s about the love and bond of the couple.

Today, women across the nation are celebrating this festival. Also, our Bollywood actresses are keeping fasts for their husbands. Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan took to their Instagram handle to wish their wives on Karva Chauth.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture of his wife Jaya Bachchan and cropped himself. Wishing his wife, Big B wrote, “the better half .. !! ? quite obviously the other half is irrelevant .. and therefore unseen ???”.

Anil Kapoor shared a video of himself running on a track. He captioned the vidoe as, “All your love, prayers and fasting is making me run faster & keeping me healthy today and everyday! ? Happy karva chauth ?? @kapoor.sunita.”

Sunita Kapoor replied to her husband’s wish with kiss emojis. Other celebs like Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Farhan Akhtar, and Varun Dhawan lauded Anil Kapoor for his determination and staying so strong and fit.
