Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani’s Uunchai trailer shows the true meaning of friendship

We have seen many films on friendship before in Bollywood. Yet again, we will see a heartwarming tale of friendship between Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa. The trailer shows us the true meaning of friendship when they decide to take a difficult journey just for their friendship.

The Uunchai trailer is about four friends who embark on the journey of a lifetime, to touch other levels of Uunchai for the sake of lifelong friendships. However, before they make it to the plan, one of their friends passed away which completely shook them. But to fulfil his last wish, Big B, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani decided to trek all the way to Mount Everest with utmost dedication.

Considering that they are senior citizens where bodies will not support them for the trek, they take up the challenge to fulfil it by hook or crook. We get to see how the trio trains themselves for the trek by even hiring a guide, played by Parineeti Chopra, to help them with the trek.

However, things start to get a little difficult when their body is about to break due to freezing cold and when they run out of oxygen once they come closer to the top of the mountain. Despite all the physical challenges, Amitabh, Anupam and Boman ensure to go to the top with their friend’s ashes with all the challenges.

The trailer looks really promising and different from all the friendship movies that we have seen before. The old-age friendship will surely make you remind of your friends who you want to grow old with.

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Uunchai also stars Neena Gupta and Sarika. The movie’s release date is November 11, 2022.
