‘Gulabo Sitabo’: Amitabh Bachchan-Ayushmann Khurrana starrer gets a release date

Bollywood, as an industry, is changing very rapidly and now everything is planned well in advance. Gone are the days where you could take things lightly and just go through the motions. Now, Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ has got a release date. The Shoojit Sircar directorial will be releasing on April 24, 2020.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account and wrote, “Release date finalized… Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana… Shoojit Sircar’s quirky family comedy #GulaboSitabo to release on 24 April 2020… Written by Juhi Chaturvedi… Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.”

Shoojit Sircar is known for making thinking and articulate films and is always looking to experiment. Shoojit Sircar had earlier explained about his film and said, “The story is based in Lucknow, and Gulabo Sitabo is a fun colloquial metaphor used by the locals. Wait and watch the film to know more.”

Shoojit has also worked with Ayushmann Khurrana (‘Vicky Donor’) and Amitabh Bachchan (‘Piku’) in the past. The three of them working together in a film will be a very refreshing experience.
