Amitabh Bachchan six flights migrants

After Sonu Sood, now Amitabh Bachchan has arranged planes for the migrants. As per reports, Big B has arranged for six flights for about 1000 workers so that they could go back home to Uttar Pradesh. As per a report in DNA, a source said that each flight will carry 180 passengers and will travel to Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Lucknow. Four flights out of the six will fly on Wednesday and the other two will fly on Thursday.

The migrant workers are thankful to Amitabh Bachchan and they have cutouts of his photo at the airport as a gesture to show their gratitude.

Earlier, the superstar had arranged 10 buses for the migrant workers of his home state Uttar Pradesh. The buses left from Haji Ali, Mumbai. He had also collaborated with Haji Ali Trust and Pir Makhdum Saheb Trust to distribute 4,500 packets of cooked food on a daily basis. He also helped families of 1,00,000 daily wage workers belonging to the All India Film Employees Confederation by giving them monthly ration.

Big B was also part of the ‘I for India’ concert to help raise funds for coronavirus relief.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ that is releasing on June 12 on Amazon Prime Video. The movie also has Ayushmann Khurrana. It has been directed by Shoojit Sircar.
