Amitabh Bachchan buys a duplex in Mumbai worth THIS whopping amount

Amitabh Bachchan bought a new home in the city. He now owns a 5,184 sq ft property in Mumbai worth Rs 31 crore. It is part of the project Atlantis by a Tier-2 builder, Crystal Group as per the registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com. Reportedly, Big B had bought the property back in December 2020 but the final registration took place in April this year.

According to a report by Moneycontrol, the Piku star has paid a stamp duty of Rs 62 lakh, which is 2 per cent of Rs 31 crore given the Maharashtra government’s stamp duty waiver of 2 per cent. This makes the property to be around Rs 60,000 per sq ft. The duplex is located on the 27th and 28th floor, and it comes with six car parks.

Amitabh Bachchan, along with his new home has joined the group of celebrities and businessmen who also own luxurious properties in the same location. The same report said that Sunny Leone had also registered a 12th-floor apartment in the same project which she had bought for Rs 16 crore on March 28, 2021.

Tanu Weds Manu and Zero director, Aanand L Rai as well bought a duplex apartment in the same project. The director-producer bought the apartments for Rs 25.3 crore. The units are located on the 27th and 28th floor.
