Amitabh Bachchan CONFIRMS Abhishek Bachchan’s presence in Shah Rukh Khan-Suhana Khan starrer King

Earlier, some reports stated that Abhishek Bachchan will be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. It was reported that he will be essaying the role of the antagonist in the movie which is led by Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan. Though it was just a report, now, Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that he will be joining SRK in the movie. Interstingly, a fan reposted a story which stated that Abhishek will be locking horns with Shah Rukh.

The fan page wrote, “Those Who have seen Abhishek Sir’s in Breathe into the Shadows, Raavan and BB, Will know what level of Performance as a negative role he can give. Never ever doubt him. @juniorbachchan”. And Big B who is quite active on Twitter reposted the report and said wished him the same. He wrote, “all the best Abhishek .. It is TIME !!!” This only indicated that Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are indeed coming together again for King.

Earlier, the two have worked together in movies like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Happy New Year. Reportedly, Abhishek’s character will be different than what he has typically portrayed in previous movies. This is said to be an “out-and-out negative role” that will showcase his acting prowess in a fresh light. Junior Bachchan has essayed the negative role in movies like Raavan, Breathe season 2 and Bob Biswas.
