Amitabh Bachchan combines Swachh Bharat & Coronavirus protection tips; says, “Darwaza Band Toh Beemari Band”

The outbreak of Coronavirus has become a medical emergency all over the world. The pandemic has become difficult to control but some precautionary measures can definitely curb its spread.

Citizens are advised to practice social distancing and quarantine for a while. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently quoted a new study that states Coronavirus lingers in human excreta much longer hence emphasizing the need to use toilets and maintaining hygiene.

Big B took to his Instagram handle to share a video in which he quoted a study by The Lancet which states that if a person infected with coronavirus defecates in the open then it spreads at a higher rate. The actor stated that it can spread through houseflies so he emphasised the need to use toilets and stop the disease from spreading any further.

His post’s caption read, “Corona a study in the @TheLancet shows that coronavirus lingers on human excreta much longer than in respiratory samples. Come on India, we are going to fight this ! Use your toilet: हर कोई, हर रोज़, हमेशा । Darwaza Band toh… Beemari Band! @swachhbharat @narendramodi @PMOIndia (sic)”
