Amitabh Bachchan dishes out couple goals as he shares sweet pic holding an umbrella for Jaya Bachchan

81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan and 76-year-old Jaya Bachchan are dishing out couple goals and fans are loving it! The couple – who have been married for over 50 years, are currently shooting a project together and Big B has shared a sweet, romantic picture from the sets. Amitabh Bachchan holds an umbrella for Jaya Bachchan

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account earlier today, Amitabh Bachchan shared a sweet picture of him with his wife Jaya Bachchan. He captioned it, “T 5074 – … and the rain it raineth every day .. even on set at work.” The picture sees Big B holding an umbrella over their heads as the actress carries a bowl filled with laddoos.

Taking to his blog, Bachchan Sr shared some BTS stills from the shoot. Also with the pictures, he expressed concern for those affected by the Mumbai rains. He wrote, “.. and the rain it raineth all day long. on the work too .. umbrellas galore among all the artists as they wade through the waters .. and most of them enjoying the deed ..”

He continued, “It is a blessing after the hot summer months .. but apart from the awaited agricultural benefits .. it brings devastation and floods, ruining the landscape and causing pain to those who suffer .. each year the scenario repeats itself .. sad .. helpless … it is difficult to describe the ruin caused .. but we pray that all gets well and for the wellness of all .. our prayers. Love, care, and wishes for calm .. (sic).”

Amitabh’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Amitabh recently played Ashwatthama in the pan-India film Kalki 2898 AD. He will reprise the role in the film’s upcoming sequel. Big B will soon also be making his Tamil film debut with the Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan. He will also be returning as the host of the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati
