Amitabh Bachchan to face protest by Congress if he doesn’t stop supporting GST

The current topic of discussion has been the Goods and Service Tax. #OneNationOneTaxOneMarket has been the trending topic and to support the same, we had Amitabh Bachchan sharing the details of GST. A video of Big B explaining GST had been made public by the government. But unfortunately, he is now receiving backlash from the opposing party. Congress has asked Amitabh Bachchan to step back and not promote GST.

Mumbai Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has been quoted saying, “He should not promote GST in its current form. There is already anger among traders against it. There will be protests against it and also against Big B as he is the brand ambassador. So he so should not promote GST.”

We also came across a tweet of Big B, that read, “a campaign to explain GST .. I was asked, I did it ..” [sic]
