Just few days have passed since the demise of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, and Bollywood has been feeling the loss. Recently, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is busy in the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Sarkar 3’, remembered his dear friend and colleague and turned emotional. Big B was in the middle of the promotions when he had received this unfortunate news of Vinod Khanna’s demise. He had cancelled all his commitments for that day immediately after hearing about it. But recently, while talking about that day Big B said that he really felt hurt and it was due to the media.
Soon after Vinod Khanna’s demise, Big B had started receiving messages and calls from journalists for his comment on about the late actor. He felt hurt because of this and said that he takes it as an offence when media asks for a quote at a crematorium. Further, he also requested them that they should not turn these sensitive moments in the angle of commercialising aspects as it is deeply hurtful. The megastar was speaking this at a promotional event of his film ‘Sarkar 3’.
In fact, he also shared another incident like this when late comedian Mehmood was asked to say a funny dialogue during the funeral of his son. Big B said that the perception that a comedian should shell out a joke at all points of times is sad.
Further, he even praised the media for their role during the earthquake in Nepal or the floods in Uttrakhand.
Talking about the film, ‘Sarkar 3’ is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and is slated to hit the screens on May 12.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
