Amitabh Bachchan gives special shoutout to Harshvardhan Rane & Mawra Hocane’s Sanam Teri Kasam re-release; Actor REACTS

The re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam has taken everyone by surprise, amassing over Rs 40 crore so far. The film, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, was initially released in 2016 but failed to make a significant impact, earning only Rs 9 crore. As the film was re-released, Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media accounts to wish good luck to Harshvardhan Rane, the film also starred Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane.

The film has been written and directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao. However, as Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release continues to set records, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has also congratulated the team now. On Saturday, Big B took to his Instagram handle and shared a poster of the film. In the caption, he wrote, “All good wishes for this re release …” Check it out here:

Soon after the post was shared, Harshvardhan Rane rushed to the comments section to express gratitude to Sr Bachchan. “God noticed,” he wrote.

Previously, Anil Kapoor also congratulated the Sanam Teri Kasam team for the film’s re-release success. “Congratulations to @deepakmukut and the entire Sanam Teri Kasam team on its re-release! The film has already won hearts, and its success is truly well-earned. Wishing @harshvardhanrane, @mawrellous, @sohamrockstrent, @hunarmukut, and everyone involved even more milestones ahead!” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

According to Sacnilk, the re-release has surprised everyone by collecting over Rs 40 crore so far and it is expected to earn even more. The movie is now the second-highest-earning re-release in India, just behind last year’s hit Tumbbad, which made about Rs 32 crore. It has also surpassed Thalapathy Vijay’s Ghilli and Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani records.
