Vijay Varma aka Moeen Bhai receives heartfelt handwritten letter from Amitabh Bachchan

Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ released on Valentine’s Day and along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, audiences also appreciated performances of the supporting actors. One of them is Moeen Bhai aka Vijay Varma. He has been receiving rave reviews from all quarters and now, he has received the most coveted letter by none other than the superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan.

Vijay was last seen in crime thriller film ‘Monsoon Shootout’ as the lead protagonist opposite the versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In ‘Gully Boy’, he did a phenomenal job with his character Moeen that led Big B to send him a bouquet of flowers and the coveted letter applauding Vijay’s performance stating, “I observed you in ‘Pink’, I have lauded you in ‘Gully Boy’, the ease of your performance, in a complex role how wonderfully you have played it. So proud of you. Love and wishes ever.”

When asked about his feelings, he said, “It is truly a blessing to receive words of appreciation and praises from Mr. Bachchan. I am very touched with his kind gesture and I will hold this moment and this memory will be very close to my heart. I had the honor of working with him on ‘Pink’ and cannot wait to work with him again.”

A few days back, Ishaan Khatter gave a shoutout to Moeen Bhai in ‘Gully Boy’ style. Vijay has proved his mettle with his acting and in the future, we wish to see more such power packed performances from him.
