Amitabh Bachchan inspiration for angry young woman : Priyanka Chopra

She plays a tough cop in her next “Jai Gangaajal” but actress Priyanka Chopra says it is megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is the inspiration behind her angry young woman avatar in the film.

The 33-year-old Bollywood diva plays a de glam role of the first woman SP of Bankepur district, dominated by a corrupt politician and his sidekicks, in filmmaker Prakash Jha’s “Jai Gangaajal”.

Heaping praise on the film’s trailer, Bachchan, who rose to stardom with his ‘angry young man’ roles in films like “Zanjeer”, “Trishul” and “Deewar”, tweeted,
