Amitabh Bachchan keen to make ‘Sarkar 3’ worthwhile, shoots for additional scenes

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has full faith in filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Sarkar’ franchise, the last two parts of which had Big B in the lead role.

‘Sarkar 3’ too will see Amitabh play the main protagonist and the movie, which was said to release on the April 7, has been shifted to a May 12 release for a number of reasons. Big B is so engrossed in the film that he apparently even shot for a few more extra scenes to make the flick more worthwhile. The actor shot for the scenes to add “an extra punch” to a franchise he has complete faith in.

Says a source, “Amitji called Ramu home to Jalsa. They were locked together in a long meeting, after which it was decided that new scenes would add to the drama. The scenes were shot last week in utmost secrecy.”

The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam and Amit Sadh in the lead roles.
