Amitabh Bachchan pens an emotional note as he questions getting back to work after Covid

About a week ago, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to announce that he has been diagnosed Covid positive for the second time. As soon as the megastar made the news official, people were worried about his health status. And now, Big B has penned down an emotional note about battling his present situation as he wonders how will he get back to normalcy after it.

T 4388 – I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also .. ?

Taking to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan put down his thoughts in his signature style as he shared how he has been adjusting to his current situation. He wrote, “The days have been spent in isolation .. and isolation develops a routine of its own which differs from the regular work days .. the human is a most adjustable being and rapidly adjusts to circumstances .. well , most of the times .. (sic)”.

The megastar went on to question the apprehensions of getting back to work after recovering. He said, “Having adjusted to the isolatored being .. when the routine of work begins the apprehensions shall obviously take over .. will it be the same conditions .. will I be able to do it .. will there be shortfalls .. how shall it be addressed .. will the work place be tolerant to my shortcomings .. (sic)”.

The Big B ended his note with hope as he insisted that each day has been a learning for him. “I shall be spending time in the apprehensive trepidatious norm .. and learn to bear .. each day is a learning .. you learn a fresh habit .. a fresh word .. a new thought .. a carefree determined response to them that need a response in some wayward thought .. before the night is out I shall learn a few more .. and more importantly .. remember .. remember .. remember .. remember to lock the doors on the floor .. to put out the lights .. to put out the candles if they bring the factor of enhanced aroma .. to get all the medications in .. and .. to communicate to the dearest EF .. my love (sic)”.

While currently the Big B is battling Covid for the second time, he first contracted the virus in July, 2020. He was treated at the Nanavati hospital at that time where he stayed for more than two weeks. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, had also tested Covid positive at that time.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has various projects in different stages of production. He will soon be seen in Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, post that he has Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna and Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. He is also supposed to start work on The Intern remake with Deepika soon. Here’s wishing the megastar a speedy recovery!
