Amitabh Bachchan praises grandson Agastya Nanda as The Archies trailer releases: You carry the torch ably ahead

Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is set to make his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The upcoming film also stars Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Dot. The trailer of The Archies was unveiled by the makers on Thursday, and it received a good response. Amitabh Bachchan loved The Archies trailer and he showered praises on grandson Agastya Nanda for his performance.

Big B is proud of his grandson Agastya Nanda and his special post proves it. The veteran actor took to his Instagram and shared the trailer of The Archies. He captioned it as, “Agastya my love blessings and more… you carry the torch ably ahead.”

Earlier on Thursday, Abhishek Bachchan penned a sweet note for his nephew. The actor shared The Archies trailer and wrote in the caption, “This is just so cool! Cant wait to see it. Agastya, I’m so, so proud of you. From jumping on my bed as a kid playing the air guitar to jumping out of the screen with a real one… the journey has just begun. Play hard! Zo, you’ve knocked it out of the park again! And to the rest of the kids and the crew, all the very best. Very exciting. Welcome to the movies! #thearchies.”

Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda too showed their support.

For the uninitiated, Agastya plays the role of Archie Andrews in the upcoming film. On the other hand, Suhana plays Veronica Lodge and Kushi plays Betty Cooper. Yuvraj Menda plays Dilton Doley, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, and Dot plays Ethel Muggs.

The Archies will release on 7^th December on Netflix.
