Amitabh Bachchan raves about ‘bhaiyu’ Abhishek Bachchan ahead of the release of Ghoomer trailer

Amitabh Bachchan praises son Abhishek Bachchan in Ghoomer

The Big B turned a cheerleader yet again for his son ahead of the Ghoomer trailer release. He took to Twitter to rave about Abhishek’s acting skills and his capability to adapt to characters. He wrote, “Bhaiyu .. my love and wishes for GHOOMER .. seen a few shots and it is amazing how you change and adapt characters in tune with the subject of the film .. my prayers and wishes… always .. love.”

This isn’t the first time that Sr Bachchan has praised Abhishek’s art. Without any bias, Big B always takes time out to appreciate his son whenever he does good work. That’s what makes their relationship special as they are not just father-son but they also each other’s friends.

Abhishek is gearing up for the trailer release of Ghoomer in the coming days. The sports drama featuring Abhishek, Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi is directed by R Balki. The filmtells the story of a girl trying to become a bowler with an amputated right arm, with Abhishek playing her coach. Ghoomer has a theatrical release date of August 18, 2023.

As for Sr Bachchan, he has Kalki- 2898 AD with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, followed by Ganapath Part 1 with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He then also has courtroom drama Section 84, along with many unannounced projects.
