Amitabh Bachchan shared a very story bond with his mother Teji Bachchan. The veteran actor has always spoken about his love and respect for his parents. Recently, the actor became nostalgic after he heard a heartfelt rendition of the song ‘Taati Vaao Na Lagai’ by Bollywood playback singer Harshdeep Kaur.
While all the celebrities have been posting on their social media handles about the safety measures to avoid Corona, Harshdeep took to her Twitter handle to invoke some strength into her followers with a very mesmerising rendition of the Punjabi song ‘Taati Vaao Na Lagai’. In the video, she can be heard singing the melodious lines of the song.
Sharing the video, the singer wrote, “Taati Vaao Na Lagai, Paar Brahm Sarnaai…” It means, “The hot winds cannot touch me; I am sheltered by the Divine.” My mother sang it to me whenever I was scared.. Dedicating it to people around the world.. during this stressful time ?? Recorded Live with my dear @Gulraj_Singh”
Looks like the song struck a chord with legendary actor Big B and he thanked Harshdeep as her video took him down the memory lane to the time when his mother used to sing the same song for him and his brother.
The ‘Piku’ actor wrote, “Thank you so much Harshdeep ji .. brought back memories of my Mother, who sang this to me throughout my early years .. and when we shifted from Allahabad to Delhi, she drove herself with my brother and me in our car from Allahabad to Delhi , just reciting ‘taati vaao na lagai ..”‘
