Abhishek Bachchan starrer Ghoomer released in the theaters today i.e. 18th August. In the R Balki directorial, Abhishek plays the role of a former cricketer turned coach. Ghoomer also stars Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi, and Shabana Azmi. Amitabh Bachchan has shared his review of the film. The veteran actor praised son Abhishek’s performance in Ghoomer. He revealed that he is beyond proud of son.
Amitabh Bachchan reviews Ghoomer
Big B wrote in his blog, “It is beyond all doubt that Ghoomer is a very superior film. I say this as a father yes, but also as a long-standing member of this fantastic fraternity. At this young age, Abhishek, and in the duration of the time (that) you have been in the Industry, you have played the most complex characters with immense conviction, diversity, and aplomb. Each one (has been) difficult and different, and each (one) successful.”

The veteran actor added, “My pride has no bounds. It has been tough to be in reserve on compliments and facts. But no more. It has been spoken and shall be spoken ever. My love.”
A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that he cried watching son Abhishek starrer Ghoomer. Well, for the uninitiated, Big B is also a part of the film. He has a cameo in Ghoomer. The actor plays the role of a special commentator in the film.
Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in movies like Paa, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Bunty Aur Babli, and Sarkar. They have always been a treat to watch. Sadly, in Ghoomer, Abhishek and Amitabh do not share any frame.
Bollywood Bubble gave Ghoomer 3.5 stars. A part of the review read, “While Ghoomer is a story that will reignite emotions towards the sport, and make you root for the character’s triumph, a stellar performance by the majority could have really elevated it.”
