Amitabh Bachchan says ‘rib injury continues its painful journey’ as he gives update on his recovery

Actor Amitabh Bachchan was injured on the sets of Project K a few days back. Well, sharing an update on the same, Big B took his Instagram account and informed fans about his recovery post the rib injury. Amitabh ji shared a picture of himself from a fashion show. While giving his fans a health update, Bachchan also mentioned that he hopes to come back on the ramp soon.

Sharing a picture, the Piku actor said, “thank you for all the prayers and wishes for my recovery .. I repair .. hope to be back on the ramp soon.” Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “Get well soon!!! You’re active lifestyle even at this age should be an inspiration to our parents and grandparents” while another one said, “Good to hear you are on the mend. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this critical time! I hope you recover complete soon May Allah bless you with a healthy life!”

Big B even penned a long note on his blog, stating that there’s ‘extreme pain’ and the painful journey still continues.

The Brahmstra actor wrote on his blog, “The rib continues in its painful journey .. but another erupts at the toe and draws attention greater than the rib .. so .. the rib diminishes and the attention drifts to the toe. The hand that wrote endlessly and with great endeavour, brought down by the pain of its continuous use  .. put it in warm or hot water .. no results .. so mentally shift it to the other hand .. now the other paineth and the original be safe and secure .. and in work mode.”

“So growth under the callus develops overnight and the medics have to be called to attend .. there is a blister under the callus .. a blister under the callus…? strange, never heard or experienced before, but there it is and yes extreme pain,” Amitabh Bachchan concluded his note.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The movie is scheduled to release on January 1, 2024.
