Amitabh Bachchan-Shah Rukh Khan’s Twitter banter over ‘Badla’ is too funny to miss

Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Manav Kaul, Amrita Singh and Tony Luke starrer ‘Badla’ was without doubt one of the best films to have come out in the first quarter of 2019. The murder mystery keeps you hooked onto your seats till the last scene and makes you rethink the whole movie through once again when you are out of the theatres. Justifiably so, the film went on to become a sleeper hit and earned the big bucks as well at the box-office. However, Big B is pissed at people for not appreciating the movie.

Yes, Big B isn’t too happy with people talking of all other big releases of this year, but not mentioning ‘Badla’ in that list. Replying to a fan page which mentioned the box-office figures of the film having crossed Rs 85 Cr in India and Rs 135 Cr worldwide, Bachchan wrote, “about time someone started talking about this silent success !! because neither the Producer, nor the distributor, nor the on line Producer, or any else in the Industry, in general. has even spent a nano second to compliment the success of this film #Badla. thk u (sic).”

Shah Rukh Khan, flaunting his witty sense of humour, went on to revert to Big B. He wrote, “Sir hum toh wait kar rahein hain ki aap party kab de rahein hain hum sabko! We r waiting outside Jalsa every nite! (sic).”

Now, isn’t he hilarious? Well, being the producer for ‘Badla’, SRK sure knows how much the film has been earning and how much it’s been appreciated by the critics and audiences in general. We loved his superb reply to Big B. Hopefully, he too must have had a hearty laugh after reading it.
