Amitabh Bachchan shares a priceless throwback photo with wife Jaya Bachchan as he wishes her on wedding anniversary

Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating 49 years of togetherness with his wife, Jaya Bachchan, today. The actor took to his social media handle to share a rare gem from his wedding album. Big B shared a priceless photo of him with his wife and thanked fans for the sweet wedding anniversary wishes. Amitabh Bachchan got married to Jaya Bachchan in 1973. The couple had tied the knot on June 3, in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Taking to his Twitter, Sr Bachchan tweeted and shared two photos. He shared one photo of him with folded hands. The actor has bowed down, with folded hands in the photo. Big B expressed his gratitude to fans as they wished him on the occasion of his wedding anniversary. In another photo shared by the senior actor from his wedding day, he is clicked performing a wedding ritual with Jaya Bachchan. Big B and Jaya Bachchan look mesmerizing in the wedding picture.

Sharing the photos, Big B wrote, “Jaya aur meri, vivah jayanti pe jo sneh aur aadar pradaan kiya gaya hai uske liye haath jod kar pranaam karta hoon. Dhanyawaad. Sab ko uttar na de payenge, iss ke liye yahaan pratikriya, prativachan, sweekar karein (I bow to you all for the love and affection on my and Jaya’s wedding anniversary. Thanks! Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have worked together in several movies. They fell in love while shooting for the 1971 movie Guddi. They went on to work in the 1972 movie Ek Nazar, after which their relationship strengthened.

On the work front, Big B has been busy with his long line-up of movies. He has the movie Goodbye with Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna. The actor also has Brahmastra, The Intern, Project K, Uunchai and many others in his kitty.
