Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for Covid-19. Big B announced it by himself on his social media handles. Along with his son Abhishek, he was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital after being diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. His daughter-in-law, Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya were also shifted to Nanavati last Friday due to their health conditions.
There were reports that Mr. Bachchan has tested Covid-19 negative and will be discharged soon. The actor has quashed all these reports. Tagging a news report of a channel, Big B tweeted, “.. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!.”

Earlier, the actor had shared an update about his health in a lengthy blog post. He wrote, “As I sit beside myself in the confines of my solitudinous care .. thoughts rush through .. of the many that need attention and were never given .. of the millions that gave me so much admiration and whether I was able to give back in return ..”
Amitabh has been thanking his fans and followers for wishing speedy recovery of his family.
After the Bachchan family tested positive (except Jaya Bachchan), the Bachchans’ bungalows-Janak, Jalsa, Pratiksha and Vatsa – were sanitised and sealed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
