Amitabh Bachchan tests Covid positive for the second time, urges those in his vicinity to get tested

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19. This is the second time that Big B has tested positive for coronavirus, he had earlier contracted it in 2020. The Piku actor took to Twitter to announce the same and has also urged everyone who came in contact with him to get tested for coronavirus.

Taking to Twitter Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “I have just tested CoViD + positive. All those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also.”

No sooner did the megastar inform his fans about him testing positive for COVID-19 again, they wished him a speedy recovery. One user wrote, “Please do take good care of yourself and heal sooner.” Another commented, “Get well soon sir!”

Amitabh had previously contracted coronavirus in July 2020 along with son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently awaiting the release of his much-anticipated film, Brahmastra. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy to play pivotal roles in the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Brahmastrais scheduled to release on September 9. The megastar is currently hosting the new season of his popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. He also has Goodbye, Uunchai and Project K in the pipeline.
