Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for COVID-19; rushed to Nanavati hospital

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital today. The actor made a shocking revelation that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus. Big B also revealed that his family has undergone all the tests and they are waiting for the results.

Big B took to his Twitter and confirmed the news and also asked all those who were close to him to get themselves tested as well, he wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”

Health Minister Rajesh Tope also confirmed to NDTV that Big B is asymptomatic and stable now.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, the comedy-drama also starred Ayushmann Khurrana.  ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ was initially going to be released in theatres, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
