Amitabh Bachchan pays heartfelt tribute in the memory of dear friend Rishi Kapoor – watch video

Bollywood suffered through yet another loss as veteran actor  Rishi Kapoor passed away at 67. Amitabh Bachchan was the one who confirmed the death of Rishi Kapoor. The two actors shared a very strong bond as they had worked in several movies together. Big B was heartbroken to lose his friend. The ‘Piku’ actor paid a heartfelt tribute to Rishi Kapoor in his latest video.

Big B took to his Instagram to share a video of himself where he remembered the fond memories he had of Rishi. He talked about how Rishi Kapoor had the walk of his grandfather, late Prithviraj Kapoor. He also talked about how Rishi would never lament his condition and believes that when he died, he must have gone with a smile on his face. He said, “His playful attitude on set was infectious .. even in the gravest sequences he would discover that comedic spark and we would all just crack up .. !! Not just on set .. if you were with him at any formal event, he would find that little distractive light-hearted gem to expand on and lighten the situation.”

Along with Big B, other Bollywood actors also remembered Rishi Kapoor this Sunday during the massive online concert iForIndia that included all the top Bollywood and global stars.

Speaking if Rishi Kapoor, he was battling cancer for the last two years as he was diagnosed with leukaemia. The actor breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital. May his soul rest in peace.
