This year, the Olympics have been mired in many controversies, thanks to the antics of our B-Town celebs. It so happened that author Shobha De was hugely criticized for her anti-Olympics comment on how our Olympic contingent is more interested in clicking selfies than bagging medals. And now with the victory of female wrestler Sakshi Malik who earned our country a bronze medal, everybody has been mocking the author for her insensitive remark.
The latest to join the list are the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Virender Sehwag. Yes, Sehwag’s parody account did a fun tweet, taking a dig at author Shobhaa De, and Viru was quick to retweet it, with his own twist. Amitabh Bachchan was quick to join him and what followed, was a fun conversation praising Sakshi Malik, at the same time making a quirky remark on Shobhaa De.
