Amitabh Bachchan wishes Shoojit Sircar the very best for Sardar Udham starring Vicky Kaushal

Recently, actor Vicky Kaushal shared the first glimpses of Sardar Udham on his social media handle​ that simply impressed the netizens. The movie helmed by Shoojit Sircar is all set to release on the 16th of October. As the little teaser piqued everyone’s interest to know the untold story on the celluloid, megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has previously worked with Shoojit Sircar in Piku, Pink, and Gulabo Sitabo was also impressed with Sardar Udham movie teaser. The acclaimed director has even gotten best wishes from the superstar for his upcoming project.

Amitabh Bachchan who is pretty active on social media took to his Instagram handle to wish his old director pal, Shoojit, the very best for the release of his film Sardar Udham and even uploaded the link of the trailer. He wrote, “Shoojit.. wishing you the very best” Having worked on 3 projects together in the past the duo surely shares a warm relationship. For the unversed, they have teamed up for hit films like Pink, Piku and Gulabo Sitabo in the past.

Sharing the teaser of Sardar Udham on Instagram, Vicky Kaushal who plays the titular role captioned it, “On the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, I’m proud to bring to you the story of his ally- Sardar Udham Singh- one man, many aliases, one mission.”

Chronicling the lesser-known story of the legendary Indian revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh, the film delves deep into his boundless courage to avenge the death of his countrymen, in an event that shook British Empire. The assassination was carried out as revenge for the heinous 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film is set to be available on Amazon Prime Video exclusively starting October 16th.
