Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned a year older on October 11, 2018. On this special day, he was not only wished by his family and friends but his fans too showered him with their blessings and love. The 76-year-old soon took to the social media to thank fans and friends and also shared the happiest moment of his life with them.

The Shahenshah shared a special moment from his 76th birthday celebrations where he can be seen with son Abhishek Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya. Posting the photo, the actor said celebrating the birthday with his son and son’s daughter was his “greatest gift”.

He wrote on his blog, “The best birthday gift for me .. Son and the little one .. the love affection and the mischief .. all make my day ..”

Amitabh Bachchan was wished by his granddaughter Aaradhya and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in an adorable manner. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ star who is quite active on Instagram ever since she marked her debut posted two throwback photos on Instagram — one of Big B and another of six-year-old Aaradhya with her “dadaji”.

She wrote, “MAY THE LIGHT KEEP SHINING GOD BLESS HAPPY BIRTHDAY PA” and added a long string of celebration emojis for emphasis. Along with the shot of Amitabh and Aaradhya, she posted her daughter’s heartwarming birthday message, writing in her caption, “HAPPYYY 76th BIRTHDAY Dadaji.”

These pictures are from Big B’s birthday that the family had celebrated in 2017 by vacationing together in the Maldives. There were no celebrations this year due to the passing away of his daughter Shweta Bachchan’s father-in-law and also of her mother-in-law Ritu Nanda’s mom Krishna Raj Kapoor.

On the work front, Big B is gearing for the release of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ that also features Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. He also has Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in his kitty.
