Bollywood fans often dream of a magical proposal and love story. Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol’s fairytale love journey is all things goals. Last year, on their show – Couple of Things, it was shared that Anmol – a radio jockey by profession had confessed his feelings for the actress while he was live on his radio show in the middle of the night.

Today – for the first time, on-demand from their fans, they exclusively drop the audio of their much-talked-about radio proposal. While taking us through the proposal, the couple share everything they went through while experiencing this special moment back in 2009.

The video begins with RJ Anmol saying, “So jis tareek pe hum ye recording kar rahe hai woh hai 31^st August 2022 raat ke 11.45 baje hai. Yehi time tha, yahi tareek thi 13 saal pehli in 2009 jab maine Amrita ko radio pe live propose kiya tha. (On the day we are recording this 31^st August 2022, at night 11.45, this was the time 13 years ago in 2009 when I proposed to Amrita live on the radio)”

Recalling the night of 31^st August, 2009, Amrita said, “Mai shoot se wapas aayi thi and mujhe yaad hai apne bed pe leti thi. Aur kucch dino se Anmol se mulaqatein bhi ho rahi thi. Like off and on aur messages ho rahe the daily. Toh uss din mujhe laga ki aaj message karun toh thoda jyada ho jaega. You know that feeling, but then I decided not to message Anmol and yaad toh aarahi thi tabhi tab maine Anmol ka show on kiya. Jaise show on kiya unki awaaz suni, I couldn’t control myself, I messaged him saying, “Hey, what’s up, you are on radio and I am listening to you. (I came back home after the shoot and I was lying on my bed. For a few days I was talking to Anmol and also we were messaging each other daily. On that day, I thought if I message him today it will be too much, then I decided not to message him. I was missing him so I decided to listen to his radio show. When I heard his voice, I couldn’t control myself and I messaged him).”
