Amrita Singh backed out of Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Mubarakan’ at the last minute

‘Mubarakan‘ has been in news for a while now because of its interesting cast. The movie brings together chacha-bhatija Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor on the big screen for the very first time and we cannot wait.

The film was also said to feature Amrita Singh, who was supposed to play Arjun Kapoor’s mother again after ‘2 States.’ While it was all over the news, recent reports suggest that the actress backed out at the last minute.

According to reports, apparently, actress Amrita Singh turned down the film at the last moment due to some creative differences with the makers. And now one hears that another senior actress Ratna Pathak Shah has replaced Amrita to play Arjun’s mother in the film.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, ‘Mubarakan’ will see Arjun in a double role, Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh. The film also features Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty in female leads.
