Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat are coming together for Anirudh Iyer’s directorial debut An Action Hero. The movie follows the journey of artists from behind to in front of the camera. The intense drama has Ayushmann in a never before seen avatar.

Ayushmann Khurrana is seen playing the role of a movie star caught in an action film plot in real life. He is seen playing the role of Manav an action hero who runs for his life as Bhura Solanki is aiming to kill him to avenge the death of his brother. Manav’s  life takes a 360 degree turn after he is accused of killing a municipal councillor’s brother. His fans too believing the same decide to boycott him. Malaika Arora is also seen in the trailer, reportedly she will be seen in a special dance number in the film.

Ayushmann who is playing an action hero for the first time has nailed the act once again. Jaideep as the man out to avenge his brother’s death is a perfect foil to Ayushmann’s character. The cat and mouse drama between the lead actors will keep you hooked to the screen. Fans are now eager to watch the movie with a twist soon.

Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Aanand L Rai present the film directed by Anirudh Iyer. The power-packed action,satirical drama is slated to hit the big screen on December 2, 2022.
