Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Ashirwad Ceremony: Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan make us go ‘inshallah’ with their appearance

After a starry affair on July 12, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have now hosted another grand event Shubh Ashirwad ceremony that has been hosted in Jio World in Mumbai. The event sees the who’s who of Bollywood dazzling the red carpet and the internet refuses to calm down. However, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan were seen arriving at the event almost around the same time and damn, they look so good.

For the ashirwad ceremony, Salman Khan looked handsome in a navy blue suit that he paired with a black shirt. His swag is enough to demand all the attention for all the right reasons. On the other hand, Alia looked gorgeous wearing a beautiful off-white lehenga, exuding elegance and panache. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actor pulled her hair back in a neat bun but her extravagant neckpiece is making treating our sore eyes. The kundan necklace only accentuated her look to another level.

The two are definitely making us go inshallah as we are hoping them to see together in a new movie. For the unversed, they were roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah movie; however, it got shelved.

Building up to the wedding, the couple and their families hosted several extravagant pre-wedding events. This included a celebration at the Ambani’s wildlife sanctuary in Jamnagar in March and a Mediterranean cruise in June. These celebrations featured performances by international including Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys and Katy Perry. Since Wednesday, July 3, the couple’s last set of pre-wedding festivities kicked off in Mumbai. Radhika’s Mameru ceremony took place on July 3. Followed by an intimate Garba night on July 4 and a lively sangeet night on July 5. It was followed by a Grah Shanti Puja on July 7, a Haldi ceremony on July 8 and a Mehendi ceremony on July 10.

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding ceremonies began yesterday – Friday, July 12, with the Shubh Vivah. Today is the Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13. A vibrant Mangal Utsav, aka a wedding reception, tomorrow, July 14. All the wedding festivities are being held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
