With just left until Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tie the knot, the couple’s pre-wedding festivities are in full swing in Mumbai. Radhika’s Mameru ceremony took place at Antilia on Wednesday (July 3), followed by an intimate Garba night on Thursday (July 4) and a sangeet night on Friday (July 5). A Grah Shanti Puja was held yesterday (July 7) and today, the couple’s Pithi or Haldi ceremony.
Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Haldi ceremony has begun and visuals from the same have made its way online. The couple’s extended family were snapped arriving at the Ambani’s South Mumbai residence, Antilia, looking their best in ethnic festive wear that is in sync with the function. Among the first to arrive are Mukesh Ambani’s brother and sister-in-law – Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani, their daughter-in-law – Khrisha Shah and Shloka Ambani’s mom, Mona Mehta. Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Haldi Ceremony
Anil Ambani, his wife – Tina Ambani and their daughter-in-law – Khrisha Shah, were among the first guests to arrive for Anant Amban and Radhika Merchant’s Haldi Ceremony. Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother opted for a bright yellow kurta-pyjama set with white embroidery around the neck while his wife looked stunning in a mango yellow-gold saree with a gold thread floral work along its edges. Khrisha – also keeping in sync with the function’s theme, opted for a light yellow lehenga set with intricate silver embroidery all over. Both mother-in-law and daughter-in-law accessorised with emerald/green gem stone jewellery.
Shloka Ambani’s mother, Mona Mehta, was all smiles when snapped at the entrance of Antilia. Going the traditional route, she opted for a long pink choli with gold dot work and a multi-coloured ghagra wore by Gujarati women.
Anant-Radhika wedding
Anant and Radhika’s wedding ceremonies will kick off on July 12. The first ceremony of the 3-day-long festivities will be the auspicious Shubh Vivah – for which the dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 is the Shubh Aashirwad, and the dress code for the same is Indian formal. The wedding festivities will conclude on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception. The dress code for this is Indian chic. All functions will take place at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
