Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Mameru ceremony: Janhvi Kapoor looks ethereal in orange lehenga as she arrives with boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya

Actor Janhvi Kapoor has now arrived for the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations’ Mameru ceremony. The Ambanis officially began with the lavish Mameru ceremony which took place at their home- Antilia in Mumbai. As several family members have arrived to bless the couple, actor Janhvi Kapoor also arrived for her friend Radhika Merchant. For the event, the Mr & Mrs Mahi actor arrived wearing a stunning orange lehenga with a gold embellished blouse.

She rounded her look with dewy makeup and heavy kohl eyes for the event. Janhvi rounded her look with a matching choker and kept her hair down. Ms Kapoor looked beautiful in traditional attire but her appearance with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya left the paps going wild. As soon as they got out of their swanky car, the paps started clicking them. They didn’t pose for them but Janhvi smiled at the paps. On the other hand, Shikhar also exuded desi vibes as he wore a sequined blue kurta and white pyjama.

Even Manushi Chhillar arrived at Antilia to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Mameru ceremony. She wore a pretty mustard yellow saree with heavy gold jewellery, looking absolutely enchanting.

For the unversed, the mameru ceremony is a Gujarati wedding tradition where the maternal uncle (mama) of the bride visits her with sweets and gifts such as jewellery, saree and more things. The ceremony is of a unique jungle theme while conveying a strong message on the environment. The entire house is adorned with flowers and lights with flute music playing in the background.
