Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot last evening in the presence of family and friends at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The couple’s Lagna Vidhi ceremony was a star-studded function that saw stars like Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, the Bachchans, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and many more notable names from across the globe in attendance.

Gen-Z actresses – including Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Khushi Kapoor, looked stunning as they made fashion-forward statements at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Shubh Aashirwad Ceremony.

Ananya Panday opted for a pastel blue lehenga with floral detailing across its skirt, dupatta and backless blouse for Anant and Radhika’s Shubh Aashirwad ceremony. She styled her look with diamond stud earrings, a diamond choker neckpiece, a dainty bracelet and a couple of rings. She added a couple of tiny flowers to her loosely braided hair looking like Rapunzel from Tangled.

Janhvi Kapoor looks diva in a bedazzled off-shoulder gold corset lehenga with sleeved capes. She let her ensemble shine bright by skipping on a neckpiece and bangles. The actress accessorised her look with diamond earrings and a couple of rings.

Just like her sister, Khushi Kapoor also opted for a gold lehenga. She paired her dupatta-less gold thread embroidered lehenga with an eye-catching minimal necklace and matching earrings. She posed along with sister Janhvi, Shikhar Pahariya and her rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina.

Shanaya Kapoor attends Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Shubh Aashirwad Ceremony looking stunning in an all-red ensemble. She accessorised her desi ensemble – which features embroidery in the same coloured thread and tiny sequins, with two neck pieces. Her mehendi was the only thing visible on her hands.

Anant-Radhika Wedding Festivities

Building up to the wedding, the couple and their families hosted several extravagant pre-wedding events. This included a celebration at the Ambani’s wildlife sanctuary in Jamnagar in March and a Mediterranean cruise in June. These celebrations featured performances by international including Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys and Katy Perry. Since Wednesday, July 3, the couple’s last set of pre-wedding festivities kicked off in Mumbai. Radhika’s Mameru ceremony took place on July 3, followed by an intimate Garba night on July 4 and a lively sangeet night on July 5. It was followed by a Grah Shanti Puja on July 7, a Haldi ceremony on July 8 and a Mehendi ceremony on July 10.

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding ceremonies began yesterday – Friday, July 12, with the Shubh Vivah. Today is the Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13 and a vibrant Mangal Utsav, aka a wedding reception, tomorrow, July 14. All the wedding festivities are being held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
