Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Wedding: Ambani women Nita, Shloka and Isha paint the town pink & festive at Radhika’s Mameru ceremony

The pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani & Nita Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani and Viren Merchant & Shaila Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika Merchant kickstarted on Wednesday, July 3. The Ambani’s hosted Radhika’s Mameru ceremony at their billion-dollar Mumbai home, Antilia and it was a close-knit function. While the Ambani-Piramal men looked dashing in matching ethnic wear, the Ambani ladies – Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Shloka Ambani and Radhika Merchant painted the town pink with their festive desi looks.

For her Mameru ceremony, Radhika opted for a vibrant pink lehenga and her mother’s jewellery. The Manish Malhotra-created custom bandani lehenga features Rai bandhej on a Banarasi brocade in Rani pink classic. The ensemble includes embroidery in gold taar zardosi, Durga Maa shloka embroidered in the borders and a 35 metre-long bandhej gagra. According to the designer, Radhika’s complimenting orange blouse is inspired by a vintage Koti.

She styled the ensemble with an eye-catching hair accessory on her pulled-back ponytail and light makeup to let her natural beauty shine.

Nita Ambani was her happiest when captured on camera during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Mameru ceremony. She opted for a pink saree with intricate gold embroidery work and some stunning emerald jewellery.

Isha Ambani looked stunning in an orange-tiered pre-draped saree from designer Arpita Mehta. She styled her ensemble with traditional jewellery and a simple, centre-parted, loose hairdo.

Shloka Ambani stuck to the same colour palette and opted for simple – but eye-catching, pink and orange lehenga. She accessorised the look with a diamond necklace, earrings and bangles.

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding itinerary

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities will kick off on July 12 with the Shubh Vivah function. This will be followed by the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 and the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception on July 14. The grand wedding will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. The festivities are sure to be a gala affair with Bollywood celebs, politicians, and renowned business tycoons in attendance.

While the wedding festivities are kicking off now, the couple and their families hosted two star-studded pre-wedding festivities. While the first was a 3-day pre-wedding extravaganza in Jamnagar, the next was a cruise for friends, family and colleagues across Europe.
