Ananya Panday will be seen romancing Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl 2.

Ananya Panday and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 trailer was unveiled today. As expected, Ayushmann and Ananya starrer promises fun, laughter and a lot of entertainment. As many know, Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to Dream Girl which was released in 2019. Ayushmann as Pooja is back to impress. In the sequel, Ayushmann will be romancing Ananya Panday. Well, Dream Girl 2 marks Ananya and Ayushmann’s first film together.

Ananya on age-gap between actors

At the trailer launch event of the event, both Ayushmann and Ananya were at their candid best. Talking about Ananya, in particular, she was asked about actors having a huge age-gap and sharing screen space together. She said, “I don’t think ye aaj ka issue hai. (I don’t think it’s an issue). The age-gap has always been there. I don’t think people should think about the age when watching the film. They’re thinking of the age then it’s a problem. Agar do log character mein suit hote hai, toh it’s alright.”

For the uninitiated, Ananya and Ayushmann have an age gap of 14 years. While Ayushmann is 38, Ananya is 24 years old. Going by the trailer, their chemistry is on point.

Furthermore, Ananya shared her experience of working with Ayushmann in Dream Girl 2. The actress said, “Maine unse bohot seekha. Joh adaye unhone laye hai, latak-matak gaane mein, I was fully like ‘How are you moving like that?’. I was trying to copy him. I didn’t give him any tips. He has actually given me tips. I enjoyed shooting with Pooja more than Ayushmann.”

Raaj Shaandilyaa has directed Dream Girl 2. Apart from Ayushmann and Ananya, the sequel also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, and Rajpal Yadav among others. It will release on 25^th August.
