Ananya Panday and Mike Tyson recreate the famous Ear Bite on Liger Set

South star Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in the sports drama Liger. The movie has actress Ananya Panday as the female lead. Now boxing legend Mike Tyson has been roped in for a cameo in the Puri Jagannath directorial. Devarakonda, Ananya Panday, Puri Jagannadh, and the rest of the team of Liger are currently in Las Vegas shooting for the film with Mike Tyson.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Production shared some BTS pictures on Instagram and fans just can’t keep calm. They captioned the picture as, “In between shoot and punches, the #Liger team along with @miketyson is all fun and smiles!?”

In the pictures, the team can be seen posing with the boxing legend. Ananya Panday chooses to hilariously recreate the (in)famous ear bite with Mike Tyson. Looks like the team is having much fun shooting with the legendary boxer.

For the uninitiated, Michael Gerard Tyson or Mike Tyson is a former professional boxer from America. He competed from 1985 to 2005 and is considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. In 1997 when fighting Evander Holyfield in the ring, Tyson was so annoyed with Holyfield that he bit his ear off. The fight has come to be known as ‘the bite fight’ through the years. Fans wonder if the legend will get to recreate the famous scene in Liger too.

The team also organised an Indian lunch for Tyson and his wife Kiki. Tyson is a huge fan of Indian food. He binged on garlic naan, butter chicken, tandoori chicken and other dishes.

Liger is a sports drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Liger is shot in Telugu and Hindi and also features actress Ramya Krishna in a pivotal role.

The Puri Jagannadh directorial was set to release in theatres on September 9. But the release date was pushed as the theatres remained shut in Maharashtra. Now that theatres have reopened, fans expect the makers to announce the release date soon.
