Ananya Panday reveals why she finds it ‘easy’ to talk to Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor

There was a time in the film industry when it was said that actresses can never be friends. They were always pitted against each other. But as time progressed, heroines proved this myth wrong. The current lot of actresses show that they can be friends and each other’s cheerleaders. Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are three such friends and recently the former commented on what makes their relationship special.

Discussing her equation with Sara and Janhvi in an interview with ETimes, Ananya said, “I think there have been friendships in every generation, that’s the industry that I saw growing up. I saw a lot of camaraderie, a lot of friendship, a lot of support and that’s always what I try to maintain within the industry and outside. Friendship for me is very very important. In the industry, I like Sara and Janhvi, because we always look out for each other, we’re always supporting each other.”

She went on to point out that being in almost similar places help them understand each other better. Ananya added, “I think they are the two people out of many but specifically them, they always message me every time a trailer of mine or a song of mine comes out. Even if they watch a movie of mine, they’ll always send me a message or call me and it’s the same with me for them. So it’s really good to have supportive contemporaries, we all know there’s heavy competition. And I think Sara always says this, they’re the only people who know exactly what I’m going through at a certain point so it’s really easy to talk to them about how I’m feeling.”

While they didn’t share the screen in it, the audience got to see Sara, Ananya and Janhvi in one song with Heartthrob in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Meanwhile, all of them are at great places in their respective careers.

Sara gave a success this year with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and has Ae Watan Mere Watan, Metro In Dino, Murder Mubarak, Skyforce with Akshay Kumar and Jagan Shakti’s next with Tiger Shroff in pipeline. Ananya recently delivered a 100 crore box office success with Dream Girl 2. Post this, she has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and her OTT debut Call Me Bae. Janhvi has her South debut with Jr NTR in Devara in her kitty, apart from Mr and Mrs Mahi and Ulajh.
