While promoting Dream Girl 2, Ananya Panday was questioned about the qualities her father, Chunky Panday, would expect in her partner. In response, she stated, “Oh, God. I think my dad is his own benchmark.” Discussing the qualities she envisions in her partner, the Liger actress shared, “They have to be as kind, as loving, as funny as my dad. That’s the benchmark for me. My dad’s just the best person ever. So, they have to be exactly like that.”

For those unversed, in July, the rumoured couple was spotted vacationing in Portugal. However, little did they know that they were going to be the talk of the town for their cosy pictures. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ananya’s dad Chunky Panday had reacted to her dating rumours. The Housefull actor said, “We are in the glamour profession ye sab hone wala hai (and all this will happen). Collateral damage hone wala hai. You can’t prevent it.”

He also spoke about his daughter’s love but revealed he has one condition for his daughter. He said, “Maine bola hai ki joh bhi hoga he has to be better than me bas phir hi usko boyfriend banana, warna usse kum ka chance hi nahi hai (laughs). (I’ve told her that whoever he is, he has to be better than me and only then make him your boyfriend, otherwise there’s no chance).”
