Ayushmann Khurrana finds his leading lady in Ananya Panday for Dream Girl 2- Report

Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Abhishek Banerjee starrer Dream Girl was a hit. The sequel in on the cards. Earlier this year, Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed that he is ‘writing the script of the film and it may take a little while for it.’ Earlier there were reports that Tejasswi Prakash will be starring opposite Ayushmann in the sequel. However, according to the latest report, not Tejasswi but Ananya Panday will be sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl 2. Yes, Ananya Panday will romance Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl sequel.

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “The makers were in talks with Ananya Panday for Dream Girl 2. And as per our sources, makers of the film have zeroed down Ananya Panday opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.”

Both Ananya and Ayushmann have interesting projects in the pipeline. Talking about Ananya, she is currently busy promoting her film Liger with Vijay Deverakonda. Vijay is playing a boxer and Ananya is playing Vijay’s love interest in the film. Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy. Mike Tyson has made a cameo appearance in the film. Apart from this, Ananya also has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.

On the other hand, Ayushmann will be seen in ‘An Action Hero’. Ayushmann had announced ‘An Action Hero’ in January this year. He shared BTS photos and wrote, “#AnActionHero goes on floors in London.”

Ayushmann also has Doctor G with Rakul Preet Singh. Ayushmann shared his first look from the film last year and wrote, “Doctor G taiyyar ho kar nikle hain. Ab hogi shooting! #DoctorGFirstLook.”
