Time and again Nawazuddin Siddiqui has proved his worth as an actor with his splendid performances. And well, he has received accolades and trophies for his hard work too. As an add on, he has won one more recognition for his spectacular performance in ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’.
At Lonavala International Film Festival India (LIFFI) held recently, Nawazuddin was felicitated with the Best Actor award. His film, which revolved around the real life story of a man who built a path over a mountain all by himself, received huge appreciation from the critics. Nawaz, who is busy promoting his ‘Freaky Ali’’ could not make to the gala, so the director of ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’, Ketan Mehta, received the award on his behalf.
Apart from Nawaz, Tannishtha Chatterjee bagged the best actress award for her performance in the film ‘Rough Book’ at LIFFI. Bollywood biggies like Ketan Mehta, Anees Bazmee, Vivek Agnihotri and actors like Tannishtha, Rajit Kapur and Dolly Thakore were present at the closing ceremony of this event.
