Anees Bazmee REVEALS Triptii Dimri wasn’t the first pick for Kartik Aaryan-led Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Triptii Dimri stars alongside Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, set to hit theatres on November 1. The film also features Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. This marks the first time Triptii will appear opposite Kartik. The makers recently released the romantic track “Jana Samjho Na,” showcasing their fresh chemistry. Interestingly, Triptii Dimri was not the initial choice for the horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as revealed by director Anees Bazmee in an interview.

Anees Bazmee clarifies Triptii Dimri’s role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

In the interview with News18, Anees Bazmee shared, “It’s not that Triptii Dimri was always at the forefront of our minds for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. We had to weigh several factors. Then one day, she popped into my mind, and we thought, why not? She delivered a fantastic performance in Animal. But it’s important to note that her rise to fame wasn’t instantaneous. The success and recognition she’s currently experiencing come from years of hard work. She has been in the industry for seven to eight years, showcasing her talent in projects like Bulbbul and Qala.”

Anees expressed his desire for a fresh pairing in the film, making Triptii an ideal fit. He added, “We had considered a few other names for her character, which would have been solid choices, but our decision to cast her turned out to be exceptional. I assure you that Triptii has a significant role; she’s not just there for a couple of songs. She’s going to amaze everyone with her performance. Audiences will be surprised, saying, ‘Oh, she has a role like this? We never imagined that!’”

Triptii Dimri’s upcoming projects

Triptii was most recently seen in Bad Newz, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Amy Virk. And she was also in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be her third release of the year. And anticipation is building for the film’s premiere on November 1.
