Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia pen an emotional eulogy for late Bishan Singh Bedi: Bowled us over with the ultimate spin ball that we never saw coming

Actor Angad Bedi’s father and former Indian Captain Bishan Singh Bedi passed away at the age of 77. He died on October 23 after battling a prolonged illness. Today, on Dussehra, a heartbroken son Angad Bedi took to his Instagram and penned an emotional eulogy for his late father. Even his wife Neha Dhupia shared the same post with a smiling picture of Bishan Singh Bedi. Neha and Angad said that Dad’s ultimate spin ball bowled them over as they never saw this coming.

They have also mentioned in the eulogy how he lived his life fearlessly. He devoted his life to family and in service to his Waheguru. “Isn’t it completely in dad’s character to bowl us over with the ultimate spin ball, one that even we never saw coming,” Angad wrote.

Abhishek Bachchan’s tribute to Bishan Singh Bedi

After the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) announced the tragic demise of the late cricketer, a few celebs from Bollywood offered condolence. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and others have penned a heartfelt note on Twitter. Even his Ghoomer co-star Abhishek Bachchan shared a note, “We lost a legend today! Bishen Singh Bedi ji will forever be remembered as one of the greatest. Had the honour of interacting with him on several occasions, last being during the making of Ghoomer. His warmth and love will always be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and May God give them strength during this very difficult time. Be strong @Imangadbedi . May he rest in eternal peace.“

Bishan Singh Bedi was seen in a cameo in R Balki’s Ghoomer where he played a retired cricketer. The movie stars his son Angad Bedi, Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher.
